Maxicrop maximises tuber numbers and boosts yield potential.

Use of Maxicrop on shy tuber setting varieties helps to maximise tuber numbers and thereby boost yield potential.

In independent trials on Shepody, a shy tuber setting variety– carried out by NDSM - Maxicrop Triple increased tuber numbers from 269,000 up to 296,000ha.

Two targeted sprays at tuber initiation increased tuber numbers by 6%. When backed by the full Maxicrop programme including sprays at bulking, tuber numbers increased by 10% compared to the control.

As would be expected, there was a significant average yield response from the use of Maxicrop applications in the size fraction 50-70mm of 7.2%.
