Maxicrop Seaweed Meal…

RESEARCH
Experiments with pigs in Norway have shown that 3% seaweed meal fortified with Calcium, Phosphorus and Vitamin D can supply all the extra minerals and vitamins required by the animals.   Pigs on rations with seaweed meal showed better growth and feed conversion than the control groups, with no difference in carcass quality.  Experiments in Ireland indicated that the chief value of adding seaweed meal was to improve the amount of basic ration that could be digested.
